Lighting the Path of Diwali: A Memorable Experience with Physically Challenged Children
I had the privilege of working with some truly inspiring children. Along with my schoolmates Devarsh, Ananya, and Chahat, we were selected to teach students from the Blind People’s Association, Andh Kanya Prakash Gruh, and Gokul Ashram School how to make decorative Diyas for Diwali.
The children’s enthusiasm and creativity were nothing short of inspiring. Despite of their challenges, they colour and decorate Diyas with unwavering focus and joy. Their efforts truly captured the essence of Diwali—bringing light into lives and spreading warmth.
What made my experience even more meaningful was that these children sell the diyas they create to raise funds. Knowing that their hard work contributes to their self-sufficiency and helps support their community made the entire event even more special.
